Jacobite Outfit

c. 1740s working-class outfit of a Scottish woman. Includes a linen jacket, skirt, apron, embroidered pocket, kerchief (scarf), and white Jacobite Cockade.

18th-century detachable pocket worn usually under the skirts. This pocket is embroidered by hand with floral motifs based on a combination of existing pockets from the 18th- century.
